Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, date of birth, or other term entered into a search tool is sent directly to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies the result; we do not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We may retain an email you send long enough to respond and manage the correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers automatically receive certain technical information about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure traffic, popular pages, and where visits end. Analytics providers aggregate that usage information. You may block cookies in the browser, although doing so can change how some site features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant-record information. It explains how to reach Polk County courts, the Polk County Circuit Clerk, and the Polk County Sheriff/Jail. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to information submitted through those tools. Review the applicable provider policy before entering a query because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arkansas court resources, law enforcement pages, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy policy governs. Read it before disclosing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select interest-based advertising.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for collected information, but no internet-connected system can be guaranteed secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If such information is identified, a deletion request may be made.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Arkansas privacy and consumer-protection law may provide additional rights. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967, Ark. Code §25-19-101 et seq., governs access to qualifying public records held by government custodians; it does not convert this private site into a public agency. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. An updated version and effective date will appear here, so visitors should review the page periodically.
